We’re excited to re-open our doors and get back to doing what we do best: healing mind + body, at a time when it's needed more than ever. As always your health + safety is our top priority. Learn more below about how we are ensuring the absolute safety of our community.

Heightened Cleaning + Sanitization Standards

At WTHN, we’ve always been committed to the highest standards for cleanliness + sanitization - but now we’re doubling down on that. In addition to our regular facilities team (which we’ll be increasing), our studio will be deep-cleaned weekly. We’ll also be vigilantly wiping down all high-touch surfaces + cleaning all restrooms hourly.

Safety + Protection

We’ll be checking the temperature of all staff + healers before each shift, following our elevated temperature protocol when needed. There are some changes for you, too. Upon arrival at the studio, we are requiring that all clients agree to a health declaration stating you agree to the health + safety protocols. All WTHN staff, healers + clients must wear masks at all times while inside the studio.

In Studio

Our team’s committed to delivering best-in-class hospitality while maintaining social distancing. Signage + wayfinding around the studio will make it super clear + easy just how + where you should stand. Going forward, we ask that you fill out all paperwork + waivers electronically prior to your visit. Finally, we’ll be closing our wellness lounge + tea bar until further notice + temporarily discontinuing product sampling in the vanity area.

In the Treatment Room

You may notice a few changes in your treatment room. As always, we’ll follow the most stringent safety protocols - all of our needles are single use and disposed of immediately. For the time being, we’ll be using disposable table paper on our acu tables + temporarily suspending table warmers, eye pillows + LED light therapy. We also ask that you wear a mask throughout the duration of your treatment.

Here’s What We’re Asking From You

As our partner in keeping our community healthy + safe, we ask that if you’re feeling unwell or displaying any symptoms of illness to please stay home. We’ll gladly cancel your treatment at no additional cost to you. We also ask that you keep your credit card on file up to date and complete any paperwork digitally before coming to the studio.

We are also excited to share that several weeks ago the NY State Government officially designated acupuncture as an essential business. This is an exciting step forward recognizing the growing role acupuncture will continue to play in the mind + body health of our community. We are working diligently to reopen as quickly and safely as possible, so stay tuned for more updates soon. We can’t wait to get back to what we do best - helping our community heal for real at a time when it’s needed more than ever.

And whether you’re planning to join us back in the studio or not, we’re here for you either way. If you’re outside the city, remember that you can connect with the healers you know + love through our Virtual Healing Sessions. Whatever challenges you’re now facing - anxiety over the unknown, lack of sleep, new WFH aches + pains - we can definitely help you cope.  Any questions or feedback? Reach out to us at hi@wthn.com.

Let’s move forward safely + together.

Stay well,
