Face Cupping Kit Ritual

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, balance is supported by healthy flow. When circulation slows or tension builds, skin can appear dull, puffy, or fatigued.

Facial cupping uses gentle suction and movement to encourage that flow—supporting circulation, easing tension, and helping the skin appear more refreshed and radiant over time.

Benefits

With consistent use, facial cupping may help:

  • Support healthy-looking circulation
  • Ease facial and jaw tension
  • Improve the appearance of puffiness
  • Promote a radiant-looking glow
  • Support firmer-looking, more defined skin

FAQ

  • Facial cupping is a Traditional Chinese Medicine–inspired massage technique that uses gentle suction and gliding movements to support circulation, release tension, and promote a healthy-looking glow.

This simple, intentional ritual works with your skin—not against it—helping you look refreshed, radiant, and more at ease.

  • Always use a facial oil or serum to allow the cup to glide smoothly across the skin. Use before your normal face routine and active serums. Face cupping can open the skin and increase absorption of your actives.

  • Not at all. When used correctly, facial cupping should feel gentle and relaxing. You should never feel pain or strong pulling.

  • Yes, many people use facial cupping to help relieve the feeling of tightness in the jaw, face, and neck.

  • Facial cupping should not leave marks when done properly. Use light pressure and keep the cup moving at all times.

  • Many people notice an immediate post-use glow. With consistent use, skin may appear more refreshed and defined over time. Consistency is key. Even a few minutes a day can become a powerful moment of reset for your skin and your nervous system.

  • 3 times per week is a great starting point. You can use it more frequently if your skin tolerates it well. Can be used daily with gentle pressure and proper technique.

  • If you have sensitive skin, start slowly and use very light pressure. Always avoid areas of irritation.

    Other considerations:

    • For external use only
    • Do not use on broken, irritated, or inflamed skin
    • Avoid active breakouts or highly sensitive areas
    • Keep the cup moving. Do not leave in one place
    • Discontinue use if irritation occurs
    • Keep out of reach of children

How to Use

Before You Begin

  • Always apply a facial oil or serum (never use on dry skin)
  • Use light pressure — this is a gentle glide, not deep suction
  • Keep the cup moving at all times. Slight redness can form but never circular marks.

Step-by-Step Ritual

1. Prep Skin
Apply a few drops of facial oil to create slip.

2. Chest and Neck
In order to stimulate the lymphatic system and release tension, begin your ritual with the chest and neck. Start at the center of the chest and glide outward toward the armpit, covering the full décolletage. Glide the cup 5 times per section across the front of the neck, moving jawline to collarbone. Repeat on the back of the neck for added release.

3. Face
Using gentle pressure, glide upward and outward:

  • Jawline → ears
  • Cheeks → temples
  • Under eyes → temples (very light pressure)
  • Brows → hairline

Repeat each movement ~5 times.

4. Breathe
More than skincare, this is a moment to reconnect. Move slowly, relax your jaw, and allow this to be a gentle reset for your nervous system.
