Matthew Jacob Roth LAc
Matthew Jacob Roth, LAc, approaches acupuncture as both an ancient language and a living practice one that offers a different way of understanding the body, its patterns, and its relationship to the world around us. His practice draws from Bo’s Abdominal Acupuncture, Tung’s Extraordinary Points, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a particular interest in psycho-emotional health, chronic pain, headaches and migraines, and digestive concerns. His treatments are interactive, thoughtful, and grounded in the belief that every person’s body has its own language. As a lifelong learner, Matthew listens closely to that language, bringing curiosity, humor, and careful attention to every treatment.
Matthew has a particular appreciation for working with people experiencing chronic pain and peripheral neuropathy, where even small changes can make a meaningful difference in how someone moves through the world. He has seen patients regain comfort and mobility, and return to activities that pain or numbness had made difficult. His approach is rooted in the idea that acupuncture can create space for the body to respond in its own way sometimes subtly, sometimes immediately. Whether through hands-on acupuncture or the gentle use of ear seeds, Matthew offers a practice that is simple, attentive, and deeply human.
