Diet can definitely play a big role in the health of our own personal microbiome (your stomach). Courtney whipped up a few gastro-boosting recipes just for us.


Stir Fry

Hearts of palm are a great high-fiber and high-protein substitute that are AMAZING for your digestion! 3.5 grams of fiber per cup, hearts of palm aid in promoting a healthy microbiome in your gut.

Stir Fry

  • -Shrimp
  • -Broccoli
  • -Hearts of palm noodles (or any gluten free noodle of your choice!)


  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 tsp liquid aminos
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tsp monk fruit syrup
  • 1/2 jalapeno
  • 1 large garlic clove

Sauté noodles and set them aside, cook the shrimp set aside, and steam some broccoli! For the sauce throw everything in the blender or food processor and blend until blended and pour over! Top with peanuts, green onion and cucumber!


Gut-healthy Bone Broth Pho

Bone broth is a savior for leaky gut and any other gut ailments that many people have. The gelatin in bone broth also helps in restoring strength of the gut lining.

  • 4 cups bone broth
  • 1 cup shiitake mushrooms
  • Kelp noodles (or any gluten free noodle of your choice!)

Top with egg (omit if allergic), cilantro, pickled onions, red cabbage, green onions, and jalapeños. Simmer bone broth and shiitake mushrooms for about 20 minutes and then add in your kelp noodles and let cook for a couple more minutes. Top with all your favorite veggies and enjoy!
